Business creation Lighthouse. 2007 

Le Phare de la Création – Business creation Lighthouse aims to help those with a business project to find contacts, listen to people's own experiences, get advice and take part in discussions about business start-ups. The event brought together professionals of the sector and renowned business people for a day-long session within the premises of Euromed Management around the topic of business start-ups of the future, in order to help present business creation, encourage business people encountering difficulties and make all potential entrepreneurs aware of business creation.
Through the organisation of the Business creation Lighthouse, ACCEDE Provence wishes to emphasise its daily vocation of fighting unemployment through the starting up of new businesses.

The Business creation Lighthouse in a few figures:

• 113 applications


• Over 350 requests for applications


• 21,000 euros of financial grants


• 18,000 euros of grants for equipment


• Communication to 16 different media


• Competition referencing on 15 internet sites


• Communication with 100 business start-up organisations


• Communication with 80 ANPE regional network agencies


• The association's website has doubled its number of visitors in a year


• Advertising hoardings at the Saint Charles station for 3 weeks 
   

Prize awards were part of a large event on starting up businesses: 

• 5 discussions about starting businesses


• 4 sessions for those intending to start a business


• Over 20 contributors


• a speed networking event attended by potential financial backers and the 10 competition
  finalists.


• 6 accountants having tested out the financial forecasts of the projected new businesses
  of those taking part in the competition and wanting advice. In this way over 25
  candidates benefited from expert advice.


• A forum of information stands bringing together over 15 organisations connected with business
  creation.
