Faculty

For the year 2009, the Faculty at Euromed Management is composed of more than 70 permanent professors and several hundreds of professional and academic speakers and contributors.

The permanent faculty implements the school's mission and strategy and also contributes to their preparation. Our professors are recruited on the basis of their individual profiles and motivation, but also on the basis of their adequacy with regards to our mission, and their involvement in its development.

The permanent faculty implements the school's mission and strategy and also contributes to their preparation. Our professors are recruited on the basis of their individual profiles and motivation, but also on the basis of their adequacy with regards to our mission, and their involvement in its development.
The Euro-Mediterranean Centre for Management (CEMM) was created in 2002 and has for objective to offer a place for encounters, discussion and work, dedicated to promoting high quality research of international standing.
The faculty therefore satisfies the academic and pedagogical criteria of excellence as upheld in Euromed Management's strategic development plan. Research nourishes teaching delivered in the different programmes, and the students (via their research dissertations and professional reports), the school's doctoral students, as well as the partners and professional contributors (involved in particular in the specialised programmes) bring new perspectives and opportunities for research and investigation.
This policy also relies on the resources that are available to the school Faculty. These aim to facilitate the valorisation of activities within the school life, to offer management and pedagogical training, sabbatical leaves designed to encourage research projects, and include a policy of visiting professors with our partner schools and institutions, support from CEMM and the department of research, also from the department of Businesses and Industry Partnerships for the development of research programmes, and support from the IT Department for developing new distance learning tools...
These multiple and diversified contributions extend Euromed Management's academic and strategic positioning, based on the vision of a complex global environment, innovating, instructive and aware of its citizen responsibilities. Euromed Management trains people who are then capable of developing their own competences so as to take action within such an environment, but also of enabling their colleagues within the company to do the same.
This is a brief presentation – not a classical presentation based on the professors' areas of specialisation, covering the typical fields of management, but also importantly businesses' new managerial and strategic concerns – of the culture promoted by the School Faculty and of the role it holds within Euromed Management's academic excellence and development. It is this twofold emphasis placed on adequacy and involvement that has earned Euromed Management its national and international standing.
